By accessing and using the Shokuho website (shokuho.com), downloading the Shokuho mod, or participating in our community, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and mod.

2. Description of Service

Shokuho is a fan-made total conversion modification for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, transforming the game into a Sengoku period Japan experience. Our services include:

  • Free distribution of the Shokuho mod
  • Community forums and Discord server
  • Installation guides and technical support
  • Regular updates and bug fixes
  • Community-generated content and resources

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Shokuho services, you agree to:

  • Own a legitimate copy of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
  • Use the mod for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • Follow community guidelines in all interactions
  • Not redistribute the mod without permission

4. Intellectual Property

The Shokuho mod is a transformative work based on Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. While the base game belongs to TaleWorlds Entertainment, the Shokuho modification contains original content created by our development team and community contributors. All original assets, code, and creative works within Shokuho remain the property of their respective creators.

5. Community Guidelines

Our community spaces (Discord, forums, social media) are governed by the following principles:

  • Respectful communication and behavior
  • No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
  • No spam, advertising, or self-promotion without permission
  • Stay on-topic and contribute constructively
  • Follow platform-specific rules (Discord ToS, Reddit rules, etc.)
  • Moderators have final say in disputes

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Shokuho is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The mod will be free from bugs or errors
  • The mod will be compatible with all systems
  • The service will be uninterrupted or secure
  • Any issues will be resolved within a specific timeframe

Use of the mod is at your own risk. We recommend backing up your save files before installation.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Shokuho development team be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the mod or services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last modified" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination
